The Llama Treks
What happens on the day?
Your trek will begin with meeting the llamas and learning
some facts about them. You will then be given instruction on
the correct way to handle and lead these lovely animals.
Then its time to begin your leisurely walk, which will
lead you across approximately 1.5 km of beautiful rolling
countryside, your llama on its lead rope accompanying you.
Brenda and/or Stewart will accompany all treks and guide you
around their farm, helping you get the most out of the
experience. During the trek, please ask any questions
you like about the llama and alpaca herds you will see and
pass through and about your woolly friend.
Allow approximately two hours for the whole experience.
The actual trek itself lasts approximately one and a half
hours.
All walks will involve going over ground that is uneven
and may be wet. There is also a small hill climb.
